Jak czyścić biżuterię w myjce ultradźwiękowej?

Has your jewelry lost its shine? Does it look dull and a bit neglected? If you are looking for an effective way to restore it to its former glory, an ultrasonic cleaner will be the perfect solution. In our article you will learn how the device works and why it is more effective than traditional cleaning methods. We'll also discuss what types of jewelry can be safely cleaned with ultrasound and what types require special attention. Read the whole thing to learn how to care for your jewelry and enjoy its shine for longer.

The most important information you will read about in our text:

  • an ultrasonic cleaner is an effective solution for cleaning jewelry that allows you to gently remove dirt and deposits even from hard-to-reach places,
  • an ultrasonic cleaner is suitable for most jewelry, including gold and silver, however, you should avoid cleaning delicate organic materials such as pearls and corals,
  • The Zent ultrasonic cleaner offers safe and effective cleaning, while protecting jewelry against scratches and damage.

How does an ultrasonic cleaner work?

An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner is an advanced cleaning device that uses high-frequency sound waves. This process, called cavitation, involves the creation of microscopic bubbles in a liquid. The bubbles implode and effectively remove dirt and deposits, which makes cleaning jewelry not only effective, but also safe for delicate materials.

The entire cleaning process takes only 5 minutes. The device is especially recommended for jewelry with complex decorations or small holes that are difficult to clean using other methods.

Ultrasonic cleaner versus other jewelry cleaning methods - which works best?

When choosing a jewelry cleaning method, it is worth considering various options. Traditional methods, such as hand polishing or using pastes, are time-consuming and may damage delicate stones. Dry cleaning also carries some risks, especially when using aggressive agents.

An ultrasonic jewelry cleaner offers faster and more effective cleaning of jewelry, reaching nooks and crannies inaccessible to other methods. The device is extremely gentle on metals and precious stones, making it a safe choice.

How to clean earrings from dirt?

Earrings, especially those worn every day, are particularly susceptible to the accumulation of dirt and deposits. Skin, sweat, cosmetics and air pollution may dull their surface over time. To restore their shine, it is worth using an ultrasonic cleaner. But how to clean earrings in a washer so as not to damage delicate elements or metal?

First of all, before placing the earrings in the washer, inspect them carefully and check whether they have any loose elements. Then, fill the washer with water and start cleaning.

Ultrasonic silver cleaning
Silver jewelry is elegant and universal, but unfortunately it tends to tarnish and develop a patina. Cleaning silver using traditional methods often requires a lot of work and the use of chemical agents that can be harmful to jewelry. An alternative is ultrasonic cleaning of silver, which allows you to effectively remove impurities and restore the shine without the risk of damage.

After cleaning, silver jewelry should be additionally polished with soft cloths. This will remove any remaining impurities and give the jewelry a mirror shine.

What jewelry cannot be cleaned in a washer?

Not all jewelry is suitable for cleaning in an ultrasonic cleaner. Jewelry with delicate organic materials, such as pearls, corals or amber, may be damaged. Additionally, jewelry with glued elements (e.g. glued stones) should not be cleaned in an ultrasonic jewelry cleaner because vibrations may weaken the glue.
